The Pacific Northwest

The Pacific Northwest has appealed to me since my very first days in California. There are fewer people, greener landscapes, a rugged coastline, and beautiful mountains…

 

As soon as my van was ready, I decided to travel northbound on US-101 all the way to Washington State and this became my very first road trip destination!

Since then, the “Pacific Northwest road trip” has been a staple of my late summer activities, and every September I look forward to driving back up there and spending a few weeks of an ideal Indian Summer, before starting a new year at UCLA.
